“Gaalgui”, work made in 2008 in Senegal for the Triennale Beaufort on the Belgian coast. 

Gaalgui has now been given a permanent place on the terrace of the new city hospital “ZNA Cadix” in Antwerp. Gaalgui tells the story of thousands of boat people who venture the crossing from Senegal to the Canary Islands. Installation 2023
